Profile
About
I have worked with MSU in Residential & Hospitality Services since 2008. I moved into the Lean Enterprise & Assessment Team in January 2021, taking on the role of Management Analyst and Lean Enterprise Manager. I am an Alumna of MSU, receiving my bachelor's and master’s degrees from Michigan State University.
My work is not just a job, but a passion for problem-solving and a continuous pursuit of Enterprise Excellence. My expertise in process improvement and project management is evident in my role assisting the whole of RHS in their continuous improvement and breakthrough innovation projects. Through the application of lean thinking, structured assessment programs, business analytics, and process automation opportunities, I assist RHS and MSU in driving these projects to success. The core of Lean's philosophy, Respect for People, is a value I embody and bring to my work daily.
I handle all process improvement, continuous improvement, innovation, and project management initiatives and actively participate in many Divisional Committees as well as several organizations that focus on Lean principles and the moving of Lean practices into the mainstream, especially in higher education. New challenges excite me and become my passion as I am always willing to assist RHS and MSU in meeting their Mission and strategic initiatives.
I am a triathlete and a grandma (the greatest role of my lifetime!). Love connecting and moving Lean forward in all I do!
